The Royal Holloway Engineering Society brings together students who are curious about how things are designed, built, and made better. Whether you're studying engineering, physics, computer science, or you just like taking things apart, EngSoc is your home for hands-on projects, industry talks, and a community of people who like to build stuff.
Our Mission
We exist to make engineering at Royal Holloway more hands-on, more social, and more connected to industry — through workshops, projects, socials, and talks from working engineers.
What We Do

Regular hands-on sessions covering electronics, CAD, robotics, and more — no experience required.

Hear from practising engineers about what real-world engineering careers actually look like.

Team up with other members to build things throughout the year, from small builds to bigger showcase projects.
